toyota yaris cross hybrid adapted driving school for the disabled people
CATEGORY I Acceleration, driving controls and driving school
At our workshop in Jallais, we have converted a Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid into an adapted driving school for disabled people learning to drive.
The vehicle is fitted with the Sojadis driving school conversion and our MONIDIS driving school box. It gives the driving instructor access to the controls: indicators, windscreen wipers, lights and horn. In addition, a double driving school pedal and an additional mirror kit are fitted.
Our teams have also integrated Sojadis driving aids such as the ACCELEG left-foot accelerator, the ACCEL BIKE II accelerator and brake handle and the COMDIS steering wheel remote control! Try out these Sojadis driving aids on a vehicle from one of the handiconduite driving schools equipped by Sojadis in France.

Accelerator pedal
- For drivers without the use of their right leg, ACCELEG offers an alternative to the right-foot accelerator pedal: the left-foot accelerator pedal. It is fitted to vehicles with an automatic gearbox.
- When ACCELEG is activated, the right-hand accelerator pedal is automatically engaged and acceleration is cut off when braking.
Accelerator and brake handle
- The ACCEL BIKE II motorbike handle developed and manufactured by Sojadis is an acceleration solution. Replacing the right-foot accelerator pedal, ACCEL BIKE II lets the rider accelerate by turning the handle and brake by pushing.
- Coupled with the MINI KEYPAD, the solution is complete and the driver can then activate the controls: lighting, windscreen wipers, indicators and horn.
